Greenville Utilities Commission is requesting quotations for the furnishing of forty-two (42) different tools and tool accessories. The scope includes items such as cable splicer knives, pocket knives, ratcheting box wrenches, adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers (various types and sizes), pliers, hammers, nut drivers, hex keys, measuring tapes, fish tapes, and other hand tools. All items must be purchased in box quantities as specified in the detailed specifications list, with quantities ranging from 5 to 120 units per item for estimated annual demand.
The contract is intended to be awarded as a total quote for all forty-two items together to a single responsive bidder. Greenville Utilities Commission reserves the right to enter into a multi-year contract with a total contract period not to exceed three years. Prices shall remain fixed during the first year, with options for annual extensions at the same or negotiated unit prices for up to two additional years if market and service conditions warrant.
Key Dates and Deadlines: Questions regarding this bid must be received by 12:00 PM (EDT) on August 7, 2024. Quotations must be received by 2:00 PM (EDT) on August 26, 2025. Delivery shall be made Free on Board (FOB) to the GUC Warehouse at 701 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday only. All shipments will be made upon individual releases from a blanket purchase order issued by GUC in accordance with their current needs.
Submission Requirements: Quotations may be emailed to haddocgc@guc.com or delivered in person to Cleve Haddock, CLGPO, Procurement Manager, at 401 South Greene Street, Greenville, North Carolina 27834. Bidders must complete and submit the enclosed Request for Quotation form with unit prices and extended total prices for all items. All proposals must be signed by an authorized official of the firm. Bidders must specify brand names for all items quoted and provide expected delivery times. Any exceptions or deviations from specifications must be clearly listed on an Exception Form, otherwise complete compliance with specifications is assumed.
