RFP-2026-EDTI-30-AB-Edmonton (Distribution)-Oil System Upgrade

EPCOR is seeking a qualified contractor to undertake demolition and construction work at two Edmonton service centers. At the Hugh J. Bolton North Service Center (NSC) located at 12116 107 St NW Edmonton, AB, the contractor will upgrade the transmission oil storage system including demolition and construction of transmission oil piping, addition of electrical and controls to the existing system, and retrofit of mechanical systems based on design documents provided by engineering firm LRDL. Additionally, the contractor will upgrade the concrete containment structure around transmission oil storage tanks at NSC with ancillary associated upgrades using design documents from engineering firm WSP.

The scope also includes demolition and construction services at EPCOR South Service Centre (SSC) located at 8743 58 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB. At the SSC, the contractor will retrofit the oil tank farm and perform demolition and construction for upgrades to the existing fire alarm and fire suppression system with ancillary associated upgrades, based on design documents provided by WSP.

The successful proponent will review the complete design packages and bid the project on the basis of work described in Appendix 1 - Schedule D. The project duration is anticipated to be six months. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM MDT. Bidders must submit questions by the deadline of June 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM MDT.

Bid documents are available for download and include the main RFP document, Appendix 1 - Information, Schedule D - Attachments, HSE Response Forms, Drawings & Information, and Indigenous Participation documentation. The bidding process is conducted in English unless otherwise specified in bid documents.
