Repair tasks include repair of damaged grizzlies or intake screens, replacement of broken chains, inoperable shafts, seals, guides and joints, replacement of valves, operators or gates, remediation of damaged concrete surfaces. Maintenance tasks may include rehabilitation of underwater steel surfaces, replacing underwater hoses and piping, servicing seal assemblies, sealing leaking stoplogs/gates/valves, removal of crustacean growth and marine vegetation, patches spalls in concrete surfaces, clearing and removal of underwater debris, and diver assisted hand dredging. Construction activities may include fabrication and installations of shaft guides, stoplog seals, grizzlies, valves, gates, guides, stops, operators, piping and concrete placement, adding cover to existing pipelines, pipeline installation of features such as clamps or other temporary pipeline repairs, installation or removal of pipeline anchors, and gas pipelines, and supporting Tower Demolition crews and Tower Foundation Building crews with barges.
