Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) equipment with associated engineering, configuration, and programing services

The City of St. Petersburg Water Resources Department seeks to procure Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) equipment along with associated engineering, configuration, and programming services. Based on a third-party evaluation of current deployed equipment, product capabilities, and total cost of ownership analysis, the City has standardized on SEL equipment for use in breaker protection relays, feeder protection relays, generator control and monitoring, power metering applications, power quality monitoring applications, and similar power-related functions.

This is a sole source procurement. Any supplier who believes they are capable of providing the same type of product or service must submit product information, a statement of qualifications, and/or capabilities documentation to the listed Procurement Analyst by the submission deadline. The posting will remain active for seven (7) business days from the release date, and suppliers must notify the Procurement Analyst within this seven-day period if they wish to be considered.

The procurement covers electrical equipment maintenance, repair, and related engineering services for the Water Resources Department's power management and protection systems. Vendors should be prepared to address their ability to provide equivalent or superior SEL products and services.
