SETTING OF 11 LARGE STEEL TRANSMISSION POLES, SUBSTATION PIER FOUNDATIONS, SIDEWALK/RAILING REALIGNMENT AND CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANCE FOR THE NEW 69KV TRANSMISSION LINE

Lakeland Electric seeks a qualified contractor to install 11 large steel transmission poles as part of a new 69kV transmission line project. The work includes installation of two pier foundations at the Dranefield Substation, removal and realignment of sidewalk and railing at the W Pipkin Bridge, and construction assistance to Lakeland Electric crews for removal and installation of additional poles as needed. The contractor shall provide all management, administration, tools, construction equipment, labor, and supervision to accomplish the work as specified in the construction drawings and specifications. All materials will be furnished by the Owner (Lakeland Electric).

The scope includes work at two primary locations: the Dranefield Substation (for pier foundations) and W Pipkin Bridge (for sidewalk/railing realignment). Construction plans, detailed specifications, pier foundation reports, and shop drawings are provided as reference documents. Permits have been obtained for both County Line Road and W. Pipkin Road.
