St. Petersburg Police Department ASCO Gear Preventative Maintenance Services

The St. Petersburg Police Department seeks preventive maintenance and repair services for ASCO Power Technologies emergency automatic transfer switches, generator switch gear, and control circuitry systems at their headquarters facility located at 1301 1st Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33705. The scope of work includes maintenance of ten (10) automatic transfer switches that transfer power to the generator when Duke Energy power is lost, a paralleling switch gear that monitors power distribution to the buildings and communicates with the automatic transfer switches, and support for five (5) main distribution panels and five (5) critical load power systems essential for continuous operations of the St. Petersburg Police Department and Emergency Operating Center.

The equipment to be serviced is ASCO 7000 Series equipment that provides critical backup power infrastructure for the police headquarters. The paralleling switch gear monitors all power fed to the buildings and maintains direct communication with the ASCO automatic transfer switches systems to coordinate power distribution across the facility.
