Substation Modifications (Keystone 345kV Substation)

Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) is seeking competitive bids for labor, supervision, miscellaneous materials, tools, and equipment for performing modifications to the NPPD Keystone 345kV substation located near Ogallala, Nebraska. The scope of work includes removal and installation of foundations, grounding systems, conduit, switches, PCB equipment, reactors, installation of jumpers, cable work, and spreading rock at the facility. Work will be performed in accordance with contract drawings and construction standards shown on drawing index 460032085, included in Attachment B.

Key dates for this procurement include an available date of June 11, 2026, with a submission deadline of July 10, 2026 at 5:00 PM CDT. Two optional pre-bid meetings are scheduled: a non-mandatory site visit on June 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM MDT at the Keystone substation location, and a non-mandatory Microsoft Teams pre-bid meeting on June 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT to review contract specifications and address questions. Bidders planning to attend the site visit must pre-register by June 18, 2026.
