SUBSTATION POWER TRANSFORMER 67,000/12,470V – ONAN 18/20.16 – ONAF 24/26.88 – ONAF 30/33.6 MVA @ 55/65°C

Lakeland Electric Department (Substation Operations) seeks a qualified and experienced manufacturer and/or supplier to deliver an estimated quantity of five (5) medium voltage power transformers with load tap changers (LTC) over a five-year period. The transformers shall be designed and manufactured per specification document SUB-TR-069-G-4 and must comply with all applicable codes, requirements, and regulations referenced in the specification document titled "69/12.47 kV POWER TRANSFORMER MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT." Each transformer unit shall have the following specifications: Primary voltage 67,000V, secondary voltage 12,470V, ONAN (Oil Natural Air Natural) cooling rated at 18/20.16 MVA, ONAF (Oil Natural Air Forced) cooling rated at 24/26.88 MVA, and ONAF cooling rated at 30/33.6 MVA at 55/65°C. Delivery shall be F.O.B. jobsite with full freight allowance included.

The contract, if awarded, shall be firm through September 30, 2029, with an option for four (4) additional one-year renewals upon mutual consent of both parties. Bidders must submit complete proposals in accordance with this Invitation to Bid, all referenced specifications, codes, and regulations. All bids must include pricing on the provided bid sheet and be accompanied by vendor questionnaires, safety evaluation forms, and required indemnification documentation.

Key dates include a pre-proposal conference on March 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM, a questions and answers deadline of March 29, 2024 at 9:00 PM, and the proposal submission deadline of May 8, 2024 at 7:00 PM.
