Supplemental Skilled Labor for Instrument and Controls Technicians at the McIntosh, Larsen and Winston Generating Facilities

The City of Lakeland is seeking bids from qualified industrial maintenance contractors to supply skilled industrial instrumentation and control technicians on an as-needed basis. Contract instrumentation and control technicians will be utilized to assist the city in supplementing its existing workforce during planned outages and other operational needs. Technicians will be required to perform journey-level, highly skilled work in the maintenance and repair of power plant equipment at the McIntosh, Larsen, and Winston generating facilities.

The scope of work includes providing supplemental staffing for instrumentation and controls maintenance and repair activities at these three power generation facilities. Technicians must meet journey-level qualifications and be capable of performing complex maintenance and repair tasks on power plant instrumentation and control systems. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis as determined by the City of Lakeland's Production Management.
