Supply and Delivery of Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

Zone 7 Water Agency is soliciting quotations for the supply and delivery of carbon dioxide (CO2) for water treatment operations. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) seeks a qualified and reliable contractor to provide CO2 supplies on an as-needed basis to support the agency's water treatment processes.

The procurement is classified under multiple categories including welding and industrial gases (acetylene, argon, carbon dioxide, oxygen), water treating chemicals, and carbon-based chemicals and compounds. Vendors must meet specified vendor qualifications and comply with all prevailing wage and contractor registration requirements as outlined in the solicitation documents.

Quotations must be submitted electronically through the Zone 7 Water Agency E-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/zone7water by 2:00 pm Pacific Time on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. A questions and answers deadline is set for January 28, 2025 at 12:00 am. Vendors should review the sample agreement for water chemicals and insurance requirements documentation (Appendix D - Pollution Liability) prior to submission.

All selected contractors must maintain minimum insurance requirements including pollution liability coverage and comply with county purchase order terms and conditions. The procurement process will include evaluation of vendor qualifications, pricing, and ability to reliably supply and deliver CO2 in accordance with agency specifications.
