T. B. Williams Coating of Water Treatment Plant Basins

The City of Lakeland Water Utilities Department seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive water treatment plant filter improvements at the T.B. Williams Water Treatment Plant. The scope includes removal of existing coating from the interior of filter bays, complete surface preparation, coating application, removal and disposal of filter media, and replacement of filter media. Additionally, contractors must perform inspection and replacement of underdrain nozzles as needed. All work must be performed in accordance with drawings prepared by CHA Engineering Inc. and specifications detailed in the project documents.

Contractors must be State of Florida licensed and provide all required administration, materials, tools, permits, equipment, labor, and supervision. All submissions must comply with the Invitation to Bid requirements, project plans and specifications, and all applicable codes and regulations referenced in the bid documents.

Key dates include a pre-proposal meeting scheduled for January 9, 2024 at 3:00 PM, a questions and answers deadline of January 12, 2024 at 10:00 PM, and a proposal submission deadline of January 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM. Submission materials must include vendor questionnaire responses, pricing proposals, safety evaluation forms, and annual audit forms as specified.
