Clean Power Alliance (CPA) is seeking a temporary Customer Programs support resource to serve key operational and program strategy functions from September 2023 through March 2024, during the current Customer Programs Director's parental leave. The contractor will provide support and strategic guidance to the Customer Programs team and their on-going program implementation, supporting program design and Request for Proposals (RFPs), and reviewing processes and recommending improvements. Key tasks include: 1) Onboarding Transition - creating/reviewing workplans, setting up coordination meetings, and transition sessions; 2) Program Team Operational Support - providing team leadership, reviewing program materials, managing Board/Committee communications, and collaborating with stakeholders; 3) Program Design and Strategy - providing expert guidance for Local Government Program, Storage Incentive Program, and Energy Advisor Program; 4) Off-Boarding Transition - providing best practices documentation and transitioning key tasks back to the Director. Work will include overseeing the Local Government Program to issue primary RFPs for fleet electrification and building electrification consultant(s) by November 2023, overseeing Storage Incentive Program Phase 1 launch in January 2024 and Phase 2 design/RFP by February 2024, and overseeing Energy Advisor Program design and RFP launch by February 2024. The work requires expertise in developing and delivering clean energy programs in California.
