Technical Assistance in Support of the NYS Clean Energy Transition

RFQL 6145 seeks to establish a pre-qualified pool of consulting firms to provide NYSERDA with diverse technical services on an as-needed basis, including support required on short notice. The consulting services will encompass a broad range of energy-related topics including policy development and analytics, tool development, economic and environmental analysis, and utility planning and analytics.

NYSERDA regularly requires research, analytic, and modeling support across various topics often within tight timelines. This opportunity establishes a roster of pre-qualified contractors with wide-ranging and deep expertise to augment NYSERDA's internal capabilities when undertaking projects. The pre-qualified firms in this pool will be available to support multiple teams throughout NYSERDA to enhance program offerings, research initiatives, policy development, and analytical work, with emphasis on detailed quantification of impacts through modeling and tool development.

Round 1 submission deadline is May 27, 2026. Qualified firms should be prepared to provide technical expertise in support of New York State's clean energy transition objectives.
