Transformers Life Extension Services

Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) is soliciting proposals for transformers life extension services. This RFP seeks qualified service providers to offer life extension solutions for power transformers in FMPA's member utilities' systems. The services are intended to extend the operational life of existing transformer assets and improve their reliability and performance.

The scope of work includes comprehensive assessment, maintenance, rehabilitation, and life extension services for transformers. Qualified vendors should provide detailed technical capabilities, relevant experience with similar projects, and a clear understanding of industry best practices for transformer life extension and condition monitoring.

Proposals should include detailed methodology for transformer assessment, recommended life extension techniques, equipment and materials to be used, project timeline, resource allocation, and comprehensive pricing for all proposed services. Vendors must demonstrate experience with utility-scale transformer work and knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

Evaluation criteria will include technical capability and experience, cost effectiveness, proposed approach and methodology, schedule feasibility, and qualifications of assigned personnel. FMPA reserves the right to request presentations from shortlisted vendors and conduct site visits as part of the evaluation process.
