Two 10k lb. Capacity Electric Forklifts

The Pasadena Water and Power Department (PWP), Power Delivery Unit, is seeking to purchase two (2) 10,000 lb. capacity electric forklifts from qualified respondents. The forklifts will be used at PWP's indoor and outdoor warehouses to transport utility equipment and inventory in support of the utility's power delivery operations.

Pasadena Water and Power is a community-owned, not-for-profit public utility operated by the City of Pasadena. The utility provides electricity to more than 65,000 customers within Pasadena and delivers water to approximately 38,000 households and businesses in Pasadena and adjacent communities in the San Gabriel Valley.

This procurement follows the Materials and Supplies competitive bidding process (PMC 4.08.045). Bidders must submit proposals in accordance with all terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the bid documents. Key dates include a Q&A deadline of March 28, 2024 at 6:00 PM and a proposal submission deadline of April 4, 2024 at 9:00 PM. Pre-proposal meetings were held on March 21, 2024.

Submission instructions and required forms are available through the OpenGov procurement portal. Bidders must complete all required documentation including declarations of non-collusion, HUD federal packages, disclosure of lobbying activities, and provide a unique entity ID (SAM). A DoIT Technical Questionnaire and sample contract terms are also included in the bid package.
