UGI Default Service Plan RFP

UGI is conducting a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of a single load following full requirements tranche. This solicitation is for energy supply that will follow 50% of the actual hourly requirements for GSR-1 Group customers who have not elected a choice supplier. The supply period is 12 months, spanning from December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027.

The RFP process includes several key milestones. RFP documents will be posted and the solicitation announced on June 2, 2026. A Bidder Information Session is scheduled for June 16, 2026 (dial-in information to be provided). Interested parties must propose any modifications to the Bid Assurance Letter of Credit and Performance Assurance Letter of Credit by June 22, 2026. Qualification materials including Bid Assurance Collateral must be submitted by July 15, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. E.T.

Bid submission training will be conducted on July 22, 2026. The bid submission deadline is July 30, 2026, with bids due between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. E.T. Winning bidders will be verbally notified of their bid status on July 30, 2026 by 1:00 p.m. E.T. The Auction Manager will provide results of the solicitation to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PaPUC) via a confidential report on July 30, 2026. The PaPUC Decision is expected on July 31, 2026, with winning bidders notified within two days of the PaPUC Decision. Transaction Confirmations must be fully executed and Performance Assurance Collateral provided to UGI on the day of the PaPUC Decision.
