Underground Fiber Project Phase 1

The City of Idaho Falls, operating through Idaho Falls Fiber (a division of Idaho Falls Power), seeks sealed bids for the installation of underground conduit and fiber infrastructure in a designated build area during early 2020. The project involves installing underground conduit, fiber junction boxes, and future electrical conduit as shown in the provided plans. The scope of work includes the installation of all conduits and junction boxes in accordance with project specifications.

The contract will be awarded on a lump sum bid basis. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and incidental permits required for the project. Idaho Falls Fiber will provide the fiber and junction boxes separately. The project is mandatory to attend a Pre-Bid Conference call scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. The conference call number will be provided to all registered plan holders. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk located at 308 Constitution Way, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402, until May 5, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Two addenda have been issued for this project (Addendum 1.0 and Addendum 2.0), with the most recent addendum dated April 24, 2020.
