Unit 1 Cooling Tower Removal GREC

Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is soliciting bids for the removal and demolition of Unit 1 Cooling Tower located at 8142 HWY 412B, Chouteau, Oklahoma 74337. This sealed bid project requires qualified contractors to complete the full demolition and removal of the cooling tower structure. The project scope includes site preparation, safe removal of the cooling tower, waste management, and site restoration.

Key Dates and Requirements:

• Mandatory Site Visit: May 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM CST at the Unit 1 Cooling Tower site. Vendors must report to the North Gate at 8142 HWY 412B, Chouteau, OK 74337 and will be escorted to the cooling tower. Sign-in is required at arrival to qualify to submit a proposal. Vendors must respond via email confirming attendance.
• Pre-Qualification Statement: Completed GRDA Unit 1 Cooling Tower Demolition Pre-Qualification Statement 2025 (Excel sheet) must be submitted via email to eric.pipkin@grda.com no later than 12:00 PM CST on May 7, 2025. This is the only document to be sent via email.
• Q&A Deadline: Questions must be submitted through the Bid Express website. The Q&A deadline was extended via Amendment 2 to May 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM CST (originally May 9, 2025). No questions will be processed via phone, fax, voicemail, or email.
• Sealed Bid Submission: Proposals must be submitted through the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) by May 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM Central Time. Search for GRDA or Grand River Dam Authority and RFP 71.1000 Unit 1 Cooling Tower Removal GREC. No proposals will be accepted via phone, fax, voicemail, or email. Vendors must be registered with Bid Express (registration is free; however, there is a cost to upload proposals).

Important Notes:

• This RFP is restricted to only those vendors that attended the mandatory site visit. Once the site visit is complete, the Bid Express advertisement will be restricted to the list of attendees from the sign-in roster.
• Amendment 1 corrected the mandatory site visit date from May 9, 2025 to May 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM CST.
• Amendment 2 extended the Q&A deadline from May 9, 2025 to May 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM CST with no other changes to requirements or specifications.
