Utah Renewable Communities Request for Proposals

The Utah Renewable Communities (URC), a coalition of 19 towns, cities, and counties across Utah, is soliciting clean energy resources in partnership with Rocky Mountain Power. The program aims to offer Rocky Mountain Power customers a choice to supplement their current energy mix with additional clean energy at a minimal cost increase. The URC is seeking clean energy resources that can achieve commercial operation no later than Dec 31, 2029, are located in Utah, Wyoming, or Idaho (with additional points possible for Utah projects), will interconnect directly with PacifiCorp transmission, have received at least an interconnection study or have a signed interconnection agreement, and are between 2 and 300 Megawatts in size.
