The City of Pasadena is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to gather supplier information regarding the availability, specifications, and delivery capabilities of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) vehicle parts, supplies, and accessories. The purpose of this RFI is to identify capable suppliers that can support the City's fleet maintenance needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting the safety and longevity of city-owned vehicles.

The City of Pasadena has procured various OEM vehicle parts, supplies, and accessories over the past five years and is exploring the feasibility of consolidating these purchases into formal solicitations. This RFI aims to establish a baseline understanding of the current supplier market and identify qualified vendors capable of meeting the City's requirements for quality products and services. The scope includes a wide range of vehicle-related items and components across multiple categories, including batteries and charging stations for electric vehicles, safety systems, maintenance and repair services, and communications systems.

Key Dates and Requirements: The RFI was released on October 22, 2024, and will remain open for 10 calendar days after posting. The proposal submission deadline is November 1, 2024, at 9:00 PM (21:00). Suppliers are encouraged to respond with sufficient detail regarding their capabilities, product specifications, availability, and delivery capabilities to enable the City to evaluate their qualifications for potential formal solicitation opportunities.
