VFD and Soft Starter Preventive Maintenance (PM) and As-Needed Repair Services

Zone 7 Water Agency is soliciting quotations from qualified contractors to provide Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and Soft Starter preventive maintenance and as-needed repair services. The scope includes scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for VFDs and soft starters used in the agency's water operations facilities.

Key dates include a Q&A deadline of April 1, 2025 at 9:00 PM and a proposal submission deadline of April 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM. All quotations must be submitted through the E-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/zone7water. The agency released this solicitation on March 25, 2025.

Vendors must meet specified qualifications and provide proof of insurance as outlined in the Minimum Insurance Requirement - Maintenance document (Attachment A). Contractors will be required to comply with prevailing wage requirements and contractor registration as applicable. A current 2025 List of VFDs is provided (Attachment C) for reference regarding the equipment to be serviced.

The contract will be executed using the Maintenance Services Contract Template (Attachment B). Vendors must complete the Bid Form and Vendor Questionnaire as part of their submission. Award will be made to the qualified bidder providing the best value quotation meeting the agency's requirements.
