Water and Wastewater PLC Improvements and Integrator Services

NBU (New Braunfels Utilities) is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Integrator firms to support the operation of NBU's water and wastewater facilities. The scope of work includes performing, furnishing, installing, building, configuring/programming, and integrating Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) services on an annual basis for existing NBU water and wastewater facilities. Firms must demonstrate expertise in electronics, telemetry, design, and programming of water and wastewater infrastructure.

The anticipated services include assessment of the current system status, repair work, regular maintenance, and future programming requirements. The selected integrator will be responsible for ongoing support and optimization of PLC systems across NBU's water and wastewater operations. Qualified firms must have demonstrated experience with similar municipal water and wastewater SCADA systems and PLC integration projects.

Key Dates: Pre-Proposal conference scheduled for October 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM (CDT). Questions and Answers deadline is October 27, 2025 at 9:00 PM (CDT). Proposal submission deadline is November 6, 2025 at 7:00 PM (CDT). All submissions must be made through the procurement portal.
