Water Resources Data Center Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) replacement:

The City of St. Petersburg Water Resources Department is seeking proposals to replace an existing Liebert NXb 30 UPS system with a new system of equal capacity and a redundant battery bank. The proposed UPS system must continue to function in the event one battery bank is unavailable due to maintenance or operational issues. This equipment provides emergency power to critical systems used in day-to-day operations of the City of St. Petersburg.

A complete turnkey proposal is required, including removal of existing equipment, furnishing of new equipment, installation, and comprehensive testing. Vendors must ensure the proposed solution fits within the defined project space, with detailed server room dimensions provided in Appendix A. The current UPS system is near end-of-life status and spare equipment is no longer readily available, making replacement critical for operational continuity.

Key dates include: Pre-proposal conference on February 7, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST; Questions and Answers deadline of February 13, 2025 at 5:00 PM EST; and Proposal submission deadline of February 20, 2025 at 8:00 PM EST. The solicitation was released on January 30, 2025.

Proposal requirements include vendor questionnaire completion, detailed scope of work documentation, cost proposal submission, and compliance with Light Construction Agreement terms (C-01), Public Construction Bond requirements (B-03), and applicable insurance provisions.
