WEC – MISO On Peak Energy Supply RFP

WE Energies (WE), a member of WEC Energy Group, is seeking competitive offers for Firm Physical Energy through Bidwell Energy's online auction platform. The RFP invites qualified bidders to submit offers for on-peak energy supply with liquidated damages as defined in the master EEI or NAEMA contract. The energy will be delivered at the MISO pricing node WEC.S during on-peak MISO market hours (HE 0700-2200 EST, Monday through Friday, excluding NERC holidays). The pricing structure is financial via MISO Day Ahead Financial Bilateral Schedule with a fixed fee of $0.19/MWh assessed on awarded quantities. The minimum price increment is $0.01/MWh.

The auction will be conducted through the Bidwell Energy Exchange platform at https://bidwellexchange.com on June 16, 2026, at 11:30 AM ET (10:30 AM CT). All offers will be considered executable through the award period, with winners announced within 5 minutes of auction close. WE reserves the right to select any offer(s) or reject any and all offers in its sole discretion, which may be based on factors beyond price. All awarded bidders will execute transaction confirmations supported by either the NAEMA Tariff or EEI Master Agreement.

Key submission requirements include: (1) Notice of Intent (NOI) email to Elisabeth Bottomley at elisabeth@bidwellenergy.com by June 12, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, including indicative pricing and volumes; (2) Execution of EEI/NAEMA Agreement with WE by June 12, 2026 (contact Kim Brewer at kim.brewer@we-energies.com if agreement not already in place); and (3) Execution of Bidder Agreement with Bidwell Energy. A platform demonstration will be held June 15, 2026 from 1:00-3:00 PM ET, which is mandatory for first-time participants. All successful bidders must provide the name, address, and telephone number of an authorized negotiator with binding decision-making authority on contract matters.
