Well 6 Site Improvements

The City of New Braunfels Water Engineering Department is seeking proposals for comprehensive site improvements at Well 6, including demolition of existing facilities (except well pump and motor), site preparation with tree removal and construction staking, and construction of a new CMU building with integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

The project scope encompasses installation of a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), chemical equipment, instrumentation and security controls, SCADA systems, and chemical feed systems. Additional components include storm water pollution prevention measures, emergency generator installation with automatic transfer switch, two chemical bulk storage canopies, flowmeter, valves, and approximately 100 linear feet of 14-inch ductile iron pipe.

Site work includes fencing and gate installation, site grading, driveway construction, and site restoration. All work must comply with detailed specifications and plan sets provided in the solicitation documents (NBU25025 100% Plan Set and Specifications).

Key dates include a pre-proposal meeting scheduled for January 7, 2026, questions and answers deadline of January 13, 2026, and final proposal submission deadline of January 22, 2026 at 8:00 PM CST.
