XCEL/SPS – RFP for Deliverable Capacity

Southwestern Public Service Company (SPS), an operating company subsidiary of Xcel Energy Inc., is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit Deliverable Capacity for the 2027 and 2028 Summer seasons (June through September) and the 2027/28 Winter season (December through March). The seller represents that the offered capacity is not committed to another entity for resource adequacy compliance during the applicable delivery periods. The seller's obligation to deliver the contracted quantity of Deliverable Capacity is firm, although the seller may utilize alternative qualifying resources within SPP to satisfy such obligation.
