Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) is seeking bids for the modernization of one hydraulic elevator at 298 S. Sunnyvale Ave, Sunnyvale, CA. The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project. The scope of work includes complete modernization of one 2,500 lbs capacity inground hydraulic passenger elevator (ID #64932), operating at 125 fpm. Work includes replacing the hydraulic power unit, control valves, door operator, car operating panels, hall buttons, wiring, traveling cables, car guides, hoistway limits, jack unit and exposed piping, pit springs, pit switches, pit ladder, and numerous other components as detailed in the technical specifications. The project requires a Class C-11 Contractor's license. The contractor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and the project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and compliance monitoring. The contractor must provide faithful performance and payment bonds, each in a sum equal to the Contract Price.
