Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) seeks qualified consultants or firms to provide financial accounting and audit assistance services. The scope of work includes: 1) Informing SVCE's finance team about accounting-related updates/changes including GASB/GAAP standards compliance; 2) Preparing financial analysis and reconciliation including monthly YTD financial statements on an accrual basis in compliance with GAAP; 3) Supporting tax filings/remittances such as Form 1099/1096; 4) Maintaining accounting and control systems including accounts payable/receivable controls, general ledger management, and developing a non-energy contract portal; 5) Providing audit assistance by collaborating with external financial auditors and internal Finance team to facilitate the annual audit process; 6) Performing miscellaneous duties as needed including working with SVCE affiliates (Calpine, PG&E, Bill.com, CAISO) and supporting SVCE Customer Rebate Programs tracking/management. The selected consultant must hold current certifications qualifying them to perform financial accounting services for government agencies in California, have demonstrated experience with California-based public agencies (particularly with Community Choice Aggregation entities), maintain independence and good standing, collaborate effectively with SVCE's auditors and finance team, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
