San Diego Community Power ('Community Power') is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide comprehensive insurance brokerage services. The selected broker will be responsible for ensuring that Community Power has the most appropriate insurance coverage to meet its needs. The services are divided into two categories of tasks: Task 1 (Insurance Procurement and Management Services) and Task 2 (Account Management and Risk Assessment Services). Proposers may apply to provide one or both of these services. Task 1 involves managing Community Power's annual insurance policy renewal process for various coverages, including property, liability, worker's compensation, and specialized endorsements. Task 2 involves providing as-needed account management and risk assessment for Community Power's insurance policy thresholds. The scope includes policy procurement, underwriting submissions, policy review, coverage summaries, policy changes, invoicing and payments, coordination of services, additional insurance quotations, ensuring financial responsibility of insurers, loss control assistance, claims and loss adjustment, binder delivery, annual services and forecasting, account management, risk assessment and recommendations, and program structure recommendations.
